Their is a place, dont want to spoil this but u basically drown yourself, with no ability to find air. Will happen to the curios and the stupid, which I put myself at. |

I know where you're talking about. Red valves?
Anyway, I did the same thing. There IS a button though. You can hit it to drain the area before you drown.
I have no idea if the reason for this flood shows up later or not. Freaked me out the first time.

Yeah, the button is hard to find if you're in a panic. It's in the room just before the valves, down low. Glows sort of green underwater. |

I did this room also, if you click a valve then turn it off and do it again for the other three as well, the water will drain out below the grate and you can see a passage below the grate.
I never could find a way to it though. |
