At last, A (worthy) BG forum,
Like most of you, I have played the entire series and addons.
I find the whole atmosphere and story line so compelling. Music is great also.
I have played them all through at least twice each and choosing the character alignment bit causes a dilemma.
An RPG (no arguments please) is a game in which you can play a role of a character (!?). Right?
Now I find personally that I tend to go for the goody-twoshoes-paladin types, because (boringly), I can associate with that.
However, I feel that what I should be doing is going for chaotic evil and sod everyone else. In other words play a role that is unlike me and get more out of it.So, I have started again.
No fighter. Sorceror this time.
True Good etc ? No, Chaotic evil.
In BG2, how did the people get on that sided with Bodhi ?
Does the story etc; change that much ?
Regards,

I just started again - BG2 + Throne of Bhaal.
This game is really good though I was not able to finish it first time a played it several months ago (it was my first RPG, I played FPS only before that).
So I will now try it again. With help of this forum, it will be probably possible and little bit easier.
I play this RPGs (like Gothic, Wiz8 but also Diablo I a II) always with mages. I like it. So I started with mage-human chaotic good character. |

I always thought I the most like a neutral good ranger. Hmm maybe we should start a new thread about this. |
