Granted. It is now Christmas ... and you've not prepared anything! You do not have any presents purchased, so you run to the door to see if you can at least buy some food to give to friends ... and there you see all the unopened mail for the last 7 months. Quickly going through the mail, your realize (to your mounting horror)that the electricity, water, gas and phone have all been cut off due to non payment of bills.
Sorting through the top letters an envelope in red catches your attention. Your landlord has sued your estate (you are presumed dead, having been missing these last 7 months) to collect back rent, and you are being notified that your bank account has been closed due to lack of funds.
In short, while it is christmas, you are in debt, with out a home, and have a warrant for your arrest (should you prove to be alive) for non payment of taxes.
I wish for nice weather tomorrow.
