Ultima 6 Project: The False Prophet: Hiring (a lot)

The Ultima 6 - The false Prophet team is looking for a lot of people to join their effort to recreate the classic Ultima with the Dungeon Siege engine. A complete list of their job openings can be found here.

cool, but...

They are "hiring", yet no requirements and conditions are mentioned and no contact information specified. It seems to me the guys are amateurs and probably need a bunch of programmers, not necesserily experienced ones, to work for them for FREE

If you look at what positions they are offering it's pretty clear that this is meant to be done on spare time and not as a job. I mean, they're "hiring", among others, an inventory programmer. I'ts timeconsuming to be sure, but not enough for any "profit company" to hire someone to only do the inventory. It's a good oppertunity for someone who wants to get in to the buissnes to prove their skills though.

At least it means they are serious. The Ultima one re-make always looked like being the only that would be completed. I say fair play to them, and if I had any programming ability whatsoever I'd probably try myself. Nice to see that Ultima is still alive.

Ultima 6 remake

The guys making the Ultima I remake (Peroxide IIRC) ran into legal issues and were forced to change the game's name and make a whole new game. How come these other guys can get away with making an Ultima 6 remake? Wouldn't they face the same problems as Peroxide's team?
