Oh

definitely. Maybe even after youve beaten the game.

See ALL of the random encounters. Some of them are hilarious.

I'm tempted to ask for a list. I've found a few. Maybe if I just ask how many special encounters are possible, then I won't be spoiling much.

How many special encounters are possible?

I donīt know but I think you need to have a pretty good "energy weapons" skill.

And be careful, a friend of me got that special encounter. But he didnot find/forgott to pick up the blaster, donīt do the same misstake.

Well, I took down the Master in his little cathedral of doom without the alien blaster. I got tired of looking for it. Now I just have the mutant base to take down. It'll probably have to wait until after finals though. *grumble*

I found the alien blaster (realy the BEST gun in whole game) on the way from Shady sands to Junktown. But I thing you must have set high level of LUCK.
However, sniper rifle is also good, and army assault rifle in burst mode do its job very well.

Anyone have some tips for kicking mutant butts? Their stupid rocket launchers and miniguns take out my people before we can take them down.

I figured out something cool a lil later on in the game.... large weapons like the launchers require two hands.... target fire and cripple an arm.... no more rockets.........

it really works.

Good tip. Just demonstrates Fallout's depth, doesn't it?
