can't teleport

I am again playing Morrowind after not playing it for a year. Using some mods I';ve used before and some new mods.

I've included the Multimark teleport mod which I've used before with no problems. However, using a recall potion, I have not been able to teleport back to my mark (in Caldera) from Seya Needa nor Balmora. I get an error saying can't teleport from here. I unchecked the Multimark esp, reloaded game, and tried without it. After the recall potion, nothing happened. No error message but also didn't go anywhere.

Is there something about teleporting, use of mark and recall, that I've forgotten? Is a certain magic level suppose to be at higher? Played in the past the game many times and never had this problem?

update on teleport problem

I went back in and did some more experimenting and found out that my teleport problem is only when using the Multimark teleport mod. Without it, I can teleport.

As I said, I never had that problem in the past when playing. This is the first time with the new game and some additional other mods I've not played before.

Any thoughts or suggestions?

The main new mods I never used before are the Ald-Vendras and associated submods, Balmora Expansion,

Mods are developed by the community, and Bethesda have no control over quality. I'm afraid that if a mod adversly affects a game feature you have two options: 1) disable the mod, or 2) contact the mod author and ask for a fix.
