Check out http://www.3do.com/mightandmagic/ix/
They don't have much there except a few screenshots, but I can tell you I played Might and Magic 8 and had some fun with it(especially when the necromancer in my party would exclaim "It's worthless!" when identifying magic items). The graphics weren't all that great, but with 9 it looks like the graphics will be alot better. Personally I'm going to wait and see what reviews on the internet say before I get it, just in case.

Ofcourse we need a new M&M9 board. The game is getting very close now, and we need to discuss: New options, party creation, new magic system, lots of new skills etc prior to the game release!

Yes, I agree with Michael C. We also need some place to talk about the old might and magic games and compare. The one thread is getting slightly too long.

According to Blue's News, MM9 will be on shelves around March 29! That's before easter!

While the M&M series hasn't been what I would call earth shattering nor has it been consistant (and what series is), most have been enjoyable and so yes - Nike.

I wonder whether the speed with which it seems to be launched has anything to do with Wizardry 8 being out?

So I change my opinion, we are maybe several months behind you. I take my vote back. So Yes + 1, No - 1.

According to the Preview that I read about Might and Magic 9, it was like playing Might and Magic 8 (which was like playing MM7, MM6, etc.). So maybe a forum called "Might and Magic" might be more appropriate.
