Max Mana trainable in NoTR?

What is the highest you can train your mana to in NoTR? And if there is a limit, should i be training to that limit before using any +Max Mana potions/ items? I searched for this answer and only found info for the original version of Gothic 2, which was something about a limit of 120 or 250, it seemed unclear though. Basically i just want to make the most of my LP and get alot of mana so any info on that would be nice, thanks.

AFAIK the max mana has not changed. 100 would be the "learnable" limit. After you reach 100, no one will train you and praying will not do more either.....but that does not mean your max mana is only 100. You can save your +Max Mana potions/ items until you reach 100, then use them to increase your mana. I do not know the absolute mana limit though. I can tell you that you will ALWAYS need more mana in NOTR as a mage. The mana cost to use runes has gone way up.

Pyrokar can train you up to 250. To access him, you have to have already trained to 100 or more, then talk to Parlan and ask for training. He'll send you to Pyrokar.

Thanks for the info. I really don't see how you will get enough exp. to train to 250.....but that is good to know
