| Help with Patch and some questions abouth mods |
|
I couldn't find the latest english patch for Gotihic. The only link available on the official page is connected here (Gothic.rpgdot.com) but there isn't such a file neither in "files" nor in "gallery". Does anybody knows where i can get the pach?
On the http://www.worldofgothic.de/dl/ there are plenty of mods. Are all of them only work with german version of Gothic or i can d/l and play with english version of the game??

I went to that site you listed. Most of it was in German so I couldn't read it!

I know, but the problem is whether you can play mod/mods with engl. version of the game or not. The descriptions are in german, but it is possible the content and sound to be in english or compatible with engl. version. It's a german site at all! |

The latest English patch is right here at GothicDot. Right in the Gallery. There is no newer patch for Gothic I.

Besides, the 'The Trial' and 'VisiGothic' mods are both available in an English and German version. We have them in the Gallery, too. All other mods are German if I'm not mistaken, with German text.

Thanks Jaz! I was afraid there weren't many of english mods of the game. I just wanted to prolong the pleasure... |

And Jaz, one more thing:
all the text and instructions of the Patch you posted is in german. Are you sure it's english version?? |

The k patch is the latest patch. It's only needed when you have Radeon issues - the English version (j) comes pre-patched and includes all the older German version patches. But it shouldn't hurt if you install the k patch even if your system is running stable. The k patch is for both language versions.

Jaz, you are mistaken. You forgot The Island, which you can get at the Webpage of my modteam. Just klick here to visit us (the website is German + English (+ soon Russian)). Our next mod Diccuric will also be translated to English and Russian, but we will finish the German version first. |

No.
You can stage fights in Marvin mode but betting won´t be possible.
