Help!! Godar won't teach me dragon scale removal!!

I got myself into a fight with Godar ages ago and just found out he can teach me to get dragon scales/blood. I've managed to resurrect him (last ditch option ) but he won't teach me, I've tried oblivion but it has now effect. I think I might be a bit stuffed.

any help, cheats or otherwise would be great!!

The guy with the Mine Crawler armor named Gesthtalt (or something like that) up on a ledge on the stone dragon's mountain will teach you both blood and scales. Forget Godar, he is a chump.

hmmmm never found him, where exactly is he? I am a dragon hunter so this may have a negative effect. Also I've killed all 4 dragons, can I still collect off them?

No, not unless the corpses are still lying around.. and I strongly doubt that.

Gestaht is on a platform to the right of the narrow pass you have to run through to get to the bridge which leads up to the old Fort where the Stonedragon is.

Is that after the steep hill you come up and have to fight through a load of lizard men? Do you have to fight some lizard men to get on to the ledge cos I've been there and there wasn't anybody!!

Even if the corpses are still around you wouldn't get them. I remembered from before I started the game someone said that minecrawlers were rare so you shouldn't kill them without knowing how to get their plates. Well, I ran into some before I knew so I inserted the ch to teach me how to get them but the already dead minecrawlers were empty (I didn't end up needing them anyway).

The corpses are still there for the dragons, they are named characters like the paladins etc. and so are persistent.

With regards to Gesthat, I can't find him at all, I'm pretty sure I've been to the platform where he is but nothing, not even a dead body, no trace of him. I've searched the mountain itself, the area surroung, everything. Is there something I'm missing? Does he move on after certain game events? I killed the ice dragon first which is allegedly the most powerful, has this screwed things up?
