| If you are a merc in chapter 3! (or have a saved game there) |

i desperately need your help!
and if you would be willing to email me a copy of your newworld.sav file
i would forever in your debt (or at least the 36 hours of gameplay that you have saved me  )
i have a strange glitch and part of my savegame file appears to be corrupt.
heck id even be willing to try it with a late in chapter 2 save point.
please respond to this thread or pm me if you are able to help.

I´ll move the thread to G2 General. You´ll get more traffic over there.
A complete chapter 3 mercenary savegame would of course be quite helpful. Then you can play puzzle and have the option to continue with the other save.

I have a pretty good "before you join a guild" savegame I can send ya. It still has a few small quests and some creatures around the map so you can see where you are in the game.
It's not exactly what you are looking for, but you won't have to start over.

I have about 3 before joining a guild save with different emphasis on either strength or dex and fighting tell me what you want excatly ok?
also I'm pretty sure I have some g2 3 chapter saves as a merc but I"m not sure it's been awhile 
also all of them are notr saves soo if you don't need that I can't help you

Thank you but im afraid i need the original flavour, not NotR.
Sorry i should have mentioned that before.

when i spliced Uriziel's saved game file with my own, it would let me talk to people, however i think it was either a different chapter or possibly NotR because im supposed to be looking for pedro but hes still sitting outside the monastary instead of milton and if i attack him he is still invincible because the newworld map doesnt think im that far yet....but in dialogue i have already asked all the questions inside the monastary.

if anyone else has a G2 original / chapter 3 / merc saved game
and would be willing to email it to me please let me know.

i think i know what your prob.do oyu have a prob with dragons valley of the mines because if oyu do its a very common bug for a merc btw

but im afraid that isnt my problem
what had happened to me was that i couldnt talk to anyone in the new world. the conversation wouldnt start and i could still run around but the camera would stay in the place where i tried to start the conversation and i would have to ctrl-alt-del to kill the game.
what i have done so far is i took my lvl 1 saved game and used marvin mode to complete as many of the important quests as i could as fast as i possibly could and then once i was in chapter 3 i spliced that game with my original chapter 3 save....
(beware spoiler?)
so far there are no debilitating glitches. the biggest thing ive noticed so far is that while i can interact with bennet asthough i have freed him he stays in the cell, so if i want to talk to him i have to go there instead of onars farm. i guess this is because i forgot to redo that quest during my marvinmode catchup game.
ill let you guys know if anything wierd ends up happening because of this
