ok guys no spoilers er anything like that, jus maybe a helpful hint er two....
whats up with that house on the way to arnika? does it stay locked ferever? do i have ta wait longer n the game b4 i can go in there? wus up with that place?
hints are appreciated...spoilers are stinky...

You will never be able to go into that house. 
As for magic, it depends a great deal on how you play the game. With the party you have, I'd build up your sammy so you can give him Bloodlust and still have ranged attacks. If your bishop doesn't work on alchemy, I'd build up your ranger as well so you can mix potions. Ninja, no. Monk, probably not.
