Ultima 9, please help

On my new 3.8ghz computer with ATI radeon (U9 still doesn't fast unless settings are tweaked), my game freezes up when I try to jump on the teleporter in Deceit. I had this problem on my old computer with ATI Rage and solved it only by transfering the saved game to a friends computer with a voodoo card, jumping onto the teleporter and saving, then transfering back. No other settings or tricks worked at the time to stop it from freezing up. After the teleport I was then able to finnish the game. Is there a way to fix this or could I get someone with U9 to load my game, jump, save and then send my game back?

Hrm... my Radeon didn't have a hiccup with any teleporter. Do you have the fan patch installed? If not, then I could probably do a quick install of the game and get you past that teleporter if you want. Just send the save to my e-mail address.
