Is it me? Or are ALOT of these specific game forums on rpgdot, dead? I rarely see any new threads when going through them except for a few here and there. I don't have room to speak when it comes to posting since I only post if I need help and notice something interesting which results in being gone for months at a time. But eh...the newest threads in some of these forums are 2 years old.

Many of them are for games that have had their day...unfortunately. It's not really surprising - we'll see an upturn when some of the bigger games hit as this year moves along.

There are many people who either replay games, play old games, or who discover a game several years after it's released. At least they will have somewhere to go if/when they need help!!

Yes, some of these forums are pretty dead. However only The Fall forum has its last post in the prior year (October). So no, none of these is dead for two years.
I think all the forums get some traffic from time to time. And we consider closing some dead forums from time to time as well.
Seems there is not that much to discuss about in the RPG realm recently :{. |

Yeah, I've thought that some forums are dead from time to time. However, every time that I think the Wizardry 8 forum is dead, someone pops up and says, "Hi! I picked this game up in a bargin bin, tell me about it!" They still get some traffic, even when the game has been out for several years.
