I setup my Maxtor 10gig as a secondary hard drive to store data on. Before and after I formatted it though, in Windows XP Pro, it only showed it as a 1.96gig. Any clue why it does this? I had the maxtor setup in my other computer running windows 98, and it had no probs. Was able to use all 10 gigs. Not sure what to do. Greatly appreciate any help.

The same thing happens to me if you replace xp with wife and gigs with paycheck. I say you buy it flowers and candy and hope for the best.

This is why I'll never get married. As for my problem, just changed the jumper on the 10 gig and its now working good. Disregard message.
