Pre-NotR advice
   

When a friend of you starts playing Gothic II for the first time, you always give him some basic advice like "Don't eat any King's foil, Goblinberry or Dragonroot", "Max out your favored stats before using perma potions to increase them", and "Start out with using bows and one-handers, you'll need to have points in them to excel in using crossbows and two-handers later on anyway". I'm about to start playing Night of the Raven for the first time, and wonder if you have any advice like this for me? No spoilers at all, just some basic advice to make sure I don't screw up my character or the storyline and have to start all over again.

SAVE OFTEN, MANY SLOTS.
