PowerColor Ati Rage Radeon 9000 64MB DDR Tv-out DVI [RV25L] |
|
Morning ive been on those forums for a long time now allready mostly under Gothic sections tho i have a damn nice problem now with my video card i can only probably solve this problem if someone got the same type of card. The Full name of the card is PowerColor Ati Rage Radeon 9000 64MB DDR Tv-out DVI [RV25L] and its not the PRO one. The problem is that i accidently flashed on it wrong bios and now i am in a pretty deep shjit . i searched every site where are drivers and every searching engine almost i even searched some taiwan sites lol and still nothing so i think there is no way someone can find them in the net :\. Tho if anybody own that type of card and would make a backup of his bios there and after that send it to me then WHOA that would be damn big help . And if u ask me if i did a backup of that bios then the answer is no i dont know why but i forgot to do that. oke thats all i think thanks in forwart if anybody will find it . And sorry for the bad english |

A bios from the PRO model would fit just as well, if you were able to find that one. I reckon the bios from a card of any manufactor whatsovere built around the same chip would work okay.
I'm curious, which bios did you flash? |

ehe naah PRO dosent fit in there and also tryed some other biosses from other manufacturers and still the same they just give u nice Matrix effects and thats all. i am sure in it there will fit only one bios and thats the same bios that was on it
Ow and u asked what kind of bios did i flash it was some kind of PRO PowerColor 9000 cards bios but there was no description that it was pro so it pretty much f*cked the videocard . The only way to make it again workable is to find someone with the same card and if that dude could make a backup of it . |

I'm pretty sure a bios from some other card with (exactly) the same chip and type of memory will do the job, you just have to find the one that fits... Have you tried requesting the file from PowerColor support staff?
Edit: This is very probably the wrong place to ask for such things. You would have a much greater chance of finding that "dude" on a hardware forum, for example.
Edit2: I forgot to mention how flashing a wrong bios could have damaged your card permenantely, but the chances are small, so don't worry... This is beacuse most of the "security measures" a piece of hardware posses against all kinds of flaws are mostly software-based (easier to make, I guess)... |

The guys at Rage3d.com will know what to do.
A card with both Rage and Radeon in itīs name sounds suspicious to me. _________________ Webmaster GothicDot |

Hwfanatic i posted it here becose the only thing probably how i will repair the card again is to find the exact copy of that video card and get a default bios. And no i dont think it damaged something really the only thing that is damaged in it is the soft[rephrasing not damaged but wrong bios ) i found one powercolor bios only on net that almost fits in but its impossible really to make it workable fully with that kind of bios cos Ati probably has some kind of CRC checker somewhere in the catalyst drivers. I can make the card run with just default VGA plug and play but if i try to install the catalysts it will report to me that i havent installed the drivers or they aint working properly
Gorath allready posted in there no one answered me yet and indeed the card name is PowerColor Ati Radeon 9000 64MB DDR TV-Out DVI [model RV25L-B3 or RV25L]
And sorry for the bad english i was kinda tired allready today its allready 8 day i am seeking for the bios and with a minimal results almost 24/7 up |
