gray, can't get rid of it!

Here are the specs.

1.2ghz ADM processor
512MB RAM
windows 98
and it looks like a
sis630/730 video card?

Any way, the game runs really smooth, but there is always this gray. The more you move, the more gray there is. Untill all you can see is gray!

It's impossible to play like this, I heard that disabling the fog might fix the problem, but I don't know how to do it. I'm only fairly good with computers. Any help would be great!

The most likely problem is your video driver. Go to your manufacturer website and make sure you follow directions to properly update your video driver.

The option is of course in the gothic.ini.

Itīs most likely a driver issue. This integrated SiS chip should be compatible with Gothic.

I have found that changing the 0 in front of the zUseFirstDevice=0, to a 1 gets rid of the gray, but the game runs VERY SLOW, a 15 sec delay between comands. I have the latest drive for my video card. I just don't know what to do next? Any ideas?
