Haha. Val, have you ever thought of a career in Politics? How about Val for President; America's first female President. Now there's a goal for you!!

How about America's first female dictator, that would be right up Val's alley

I'd vote for you... erm, if I was a US citizen... and if you were going for the dictator option, I guess votes don't come into it. Anyway... please put Bush in the C/S. Preferably with Blair cuffed to him. And burn/acidify the bits before they congeal into some hideous amalgam of the two.

Ugh... it'd be like a politician version of Tetsuo: The Iron Man

@Val: I'd vote for you! *grin*

As for real life? School, work, dance and a new boy toy. *wink*

Gah, 1.30am and I'm still at work. I'm monitoring (among other things) a thread where misguided teenage girls leave adoring messages about Robbie Williams, Busted and other musical geniuses.

Forgive me for going wildly off-topic for a moment, but Lawanda... I just noticed your sig, do you know an anime called Jin Roh: The Wolf Brigade (sp) ? I ordered it off ebay a little while back for about US$4 (along with Ikaruga for Gamecube), the guy's taking ages to send it. Thought I'd heard it recommended somewhere, and it was so cheap I thought I'd snap it up - you know if it's decent?

@piln: Well that sucks.

As for being a dictator, nah. Ruling the world would probably be boring and I'd have to listen to even more whinning. Unless I outlawed whinning.... Hmm... what an intriguing concept.

Big mistake for a world conquerer. If you outlawed bitching about something people might actually be motivated enough to do something about it instead. If you're going to be persecuted for talk you might as well act and get something done before they catch you.

Are you mad? You can do anything! Don't tell me that the prospect of having endless legions of soldiers march past you isn't something you would turn down. Besides, if the paranoia sets in early enough that should keep you occupied.

Maybe you could install Complaint Booths around the country. Let people come in to have a whinge, only to find (too late) that the booth is a disguised chipper/shredder (with hilarious consequences!)

Then if anybody asks "what happened to Fred/Janice/my auntie/etc?" just tell 'em they were whisked away to a fancy government job for showing such initiative.

OR

Build a perfect replica of the complaining so-and-so out of their minced remains, place it in their bed and say they died of natural causes. Yeah... that'd work.

Hmm... I like the complaint booth idea.

@Xen: Mass brainwashing would deal with that.

I've decided to teach myself Japanese in order to speed away the work hours. Can you use your mentalist powers to help me with that Val, so I don't have to do it the hard way?
