does anyone knows what you can do with these two thingies except selling them ofcourse and why cant we make our own bows?  hope thats something we can do in gothic 3

I think they can be used for making runes, if you are a mage. If you are not a mage, you can sell them, but in the 6th chapter you can use black pearl for making very strong potion (but you will find another black pearl in this chapter). |

another potion? what stats does it have? damn i have to get into that alchemy skills someday

It's "Embarla Firgasto" potion, which gives you +15 STR. You don't need to learn alchemy if you want to brew it. You can brew this potion only once per game (I think, if you are dragon hunter - twice) becouse of very rare ingredients (you need 11 dragon eggs). You will find recipe in the 6th chapter. |

the potion gives you
+15 to str. parment... and yes you relly shuld learn alchemy....  
you alsow need 12 dragon eggs for the potion.. so dont give any of the eggs to bennet (if you are a dragon hunter)coz in chapter 5 you will get a misson to get some thing like 20-25 eggs i think (never did that quest) find tham all and keep tham (they may give you a lot of exe. but they will give you a lot of str... (you will find/get something like 14 more eggs in chapter 6)...

i think i have already found about 4 black pearls, and i'm in chapter 4.
so that ingredient isn't hard to find  ... well, i don't have one anymore...
then i'll just have to look for one.
so i can learn it twice... (i'm a dragonhunter)
