Character movement animation

I saw the E3 videos and I was completly impressed about the overall garphics of the game! It looks really awesome but I found the player carather's running animation very weird! It looks like fast walking or something, but definitely not life like running! Does anybody noticed this too? Hopefully this animation is still in development, because You will see that much more during the game than anything else so it should be a bit more professional IMO! Share your oppinion please!

Keep in mind - this is a pre-alpha version. A lot will change. I believe perfecting the characters movements(fighting, running etc) will be one of the last pieces of the puzzle. Still, I agree with you - it looks like something out of Knights of the Old Republic, and even though KotOR is a great game - the graphics isn't nearly as groundbreaking as the one in Gothic 3. I hope it looks better in the real game, but it's not a primary concern of mine.

They're only at about 40-50% of the game, so a lot of things will be changed, polished, improved. Don't draw too many conclusions from a pre-alpha movie.
