Burz isn't a rat. He's a Trynnie, and Trynnies don't like rats either.

Guardian,

I too have a priest (my only pure caster). I prayed like a madman early in the game and it helped a lot. I don't pray nearly as often now since I have a number of useful spells (especially stamina, which my bard and ranger keep running to zero during battle). In a nutshell, if the priest isn't doing anything else but hiding in the back of the party, they might as well pray.

I can't recommend killing other characters in the game. Some people kill everything they see, but I don't see the point in that. As Michael C said, better to keep them around for restocking. If you kill them, you may get a few items that one time, but then you're out of luck if you need items later. Of course, I have made one exception to this rule so far, but he wanted 80,000 in gold. You'll find this character soon enough.

I guess your right. sometimes now my priest runs out of sp(mana) and i have only pray as an option but for some reason i can only use it once. that bits because after that he can just sit around and wait till something gets in range. I wont kill that guy now but when i come back a second time i will be sure to do so.

is the gagdeteer a worthy man to place in my group? I started a game a while ago and he was only doing 2-3 damage with his omnigun. Is he good?

Here's a hint, you find a note in the monastary. Take it to the priest in Arnika..

Not that I want to "spoil" it for anyone, but the exact location to the key that opens the door in the monestery is...well, it's somewhere around this website. (I already got the impression some people don't like me spilling easy secrets. But after playing this game several times, I can tell you that the spilling of secrets is the easiest part of the game. The hardest part is not knowing how or what to respond to riddles).

You're welcome! Seems like I got into that room on my own WAY before I needed what was in there.
