k.. i'm only in chapter 2, my mission now is ta get to the nest of the minecrawlers.. but how the hell do i get in???????????
i talked to ian, got the gear, gave it to him.. said the password to ashgan, he said bring templars, i brought 2, it said in my journal: i brought sufficient templars... but when i try to open the gate.. it says winch is jammed!!!!!!! PLEASE HHELP!!!! I'M GOING CRAZY

You should brin 3 Templars to Ashgan....The last one is the one at the sideshaft just below Ian=].

Also, there is a bug - if you step up to the winch right (with the action button) and don't follow through and actually open it (with the forward key) then it jams permanently without giving you the chance to open the gate.

You can only open the gate after the guard says he is ready and you have to open it immediately.
