O.K rb89,

Mmmm - - the plot thickens,

I assume you tried the other cd-players and you removed the any old
files first?

We now need to check the authenticty of the cd, gosh, are you fluent
with using you cd-writer? have you a cd verify program you can use to check
the file integrity on the "play" cd? (nero?- or similar) you will need to do this yourself before going any further. If the cd's are copies it will pointless.
