Not tumbleweed.

"Wounds my heart with a monotonous langour."

Bartacus has mentioned the film and the code is not US forces but probably SOE.

The Longest Day? (beach is the Normandy beach I presume, so the longest day makes sense with your new answer.)

I've never seen so many men wasted so bad. (Said by a blond, kind of good guy.)

Yep, that's the one. My favourite western that is. Just love the scene at the graveyard. It's like I was there, never felt it so powerfull in any movie then this one at this scene. (even not in my alltime favourite: The Godfather)

Anyway, Conan, it's your turn to deliver.

Is "are we there yet?" your quote? If it is my guess is Planes, Trains and Automobiles. Although I'm sure it's been in more movies then that one.

Yes, it is my quote and no its not that movie.

I didn't know the Simpsons were in a movie yet? (multiple times said by Bart and Lisa in one of their earlier episodes.)

Sigh, I can't be bothered anymore. Its actually from "Shrek 2" the donkey said it at least four times. Its not that difficult.
