Gothic 2: French Retail Mouse Patch @ 3D Gamers
   

3D Gamers has a small update for the French version of Gothic 2 that <a href="http://www.3dgamers.com/news/more/1096482266/" target="_blank">fixes a mouse problem</a>. Or does it fix a problem that French mice have with Gothic 2? Unfortunately there's no specific details either way.

I assure you french people use standard mouses ( we already have AZERTY keybords to feel different ! ).
The problem with Gothic 2 is due to the "use mouse" option in the menu which is broken.
A simple workaround was to hack the gothic.ini file.
