This is where you can find the rules that apply for the groups. There is one post for each rule. Don't get scared now, there aren't that many rules
They fall into the following categories:
1) Group requirements
2) Forum requirements
3) Website requirements
This is the current status of the rules. RPGDot reserves the right to change the rules or deviate from them, when required.

A group is created upon request. The following applies when requesting a group:
1) The group should have at least four members.
2) One and only one of the members will become the moderator of the group. He or she will be able to add and remove members.
3) The name of the group should be in agreement with the rules of conduct as described in the FAQ. So no profane or insulting names and stuff like that.
4) The name of the group can not be related to an RPGDot group or activity. As an example the name can not contain words like "Moderator" or 'Guardian". The list could be longer but I assume you understand what I mean.

Any group can request a private forum. This forum can only be accessed by all groupmembers. It can not be viewed or read by non-members, with the exception of the admins who can not be denied access (not even if I wanted to )
The roolz:
1) The group moderator can request a forum when there are 10+ members
2) The group should show some signs of activity when the request is made.
3) The group will loose it's forum when it's number of members drops below 7.
4) The same rules apply to these private forums as to other forums, so read the FAQ.
5) The group moderator will also become the forum moderator, unless the group decides otherwise. There can be however only one moderator.
6) The name of the group moderator will be 'tagged' and he or she is allowed to use a bigger avatar image. However the group moderator will not have the same status as an RPGDot moderator. |

Getting and keeping a website |
|
For further amusement, entertainment and education, each group with a forum will get a website at RPGDot.
Here's what applies:
1) The location of the website will be something like: http://guilds.rpgdot.com/~groupname
2) The group will get one e-maill adress, with the same name as the 'groupname' in 1)
3) The website will start out with 20MB of diskspace.
4) Maintaining the website is up to the groups.
5) The contents of the website should be related to the group and of course none of the rules and guidelines as described in the FAQ should be violated (so take care of what you write down and show).
6) The main page of your website will have an RPGDot logo with a link to the RPGDot site.
7) Each page will carry our banner.
8 ) When you loose your forum, you'll loose your website. |
