Ok, i'm sure this is somewhere else in here, but honestly, there are like 60 PAGES of topics. I'm not *THAT* inclined. I got the game, because i'm an avid lover of both "style" depicted on the box (both the FP aspect, and the RPG aspect.) Love Half-life, love Doom, love Heroes of M&M, love Wizardy (who remembers the old Nintendo one?) Anyways, i digress. got home, installed it, and all it does is "Internal Applictaion Error: Gothic has caused a fault within Gothic" and gives me a long list of stuff that i of course emailed to Pirahna Bytes.
My thing is, is this common? does someone else have any advice?
Here's the basics (and mostly why i don't see how it's not working)
AMD Athlon 1.5Ghz Processor.
256MB PC133 RAM
ATi Radeon VE Video Card (ok, so it sucks.)
SB Live! X-Gamer card.
Logitech Cordless Optical Mouse
Windows 98SE
Seagate 40GB 7200RPM HD (ATA-100)
I'm certainly not the fastest thing out there, but i don't think i'm technologically stunted or anything. any clues on how to get this to work/

If you want to find something use search button - left_upper corner - then 20 pages will no longer mean too much, but enough to find something

You should post this in Gothic-Troubleshooting here on this page and search it for advices.
Your system is good enough. There could be some problems with Radeon cards - search troubleshooting forum for more info.
Gothic has caused fault in Gothic... This is not enough for us. You should give us same stuff you send to Piranha... then we can say more...
(I suppose you have up to date video/sound drivers, newest directX etc.)

Iīm not sure Gothic works on a Radeon VE.
Install the patch and the driver version mentioned on the patch page.
