Oh my, how is this game ever going to move an a PC? Oh my, how is this game ever going to move an a PC? well, with a 64-bit AMD and a nvidia ultra 6800 SLI setup maybE?

If the final game is really going to look like this on PC, I'm gladly willing to invest unreasonable sums of money into hw upgrades

Those graphics arent that much better than the ATI tech demos or the 3DMark 2005 benchmarks.

Those run reasonably well on my machine, and I only have a 2.5Ghz P4 with a ATI 9700 Pro. By the time this game comes out I should have upgraded enough to run it quite well.

Really? I think the Oblivion forest scenes are the most lifelike I've ever seen on a computer. While impressive, 3DMark and the ATI demos don't come close, and they are in small confined areas and on rails.

3DMark 2005 forest benchmark runs reasonably well on your computer? Why do I find this hard to beliave?, I doubt you get above 6 fps average on it with that setup. Futher more this is without any computations for collision detection AI, sounds, music, advanced culling, skeleton animation... well I can go on and on

I'm sure many of us have upgraded our PCs by the time this game is finished, so I'm sure we'll be able to run it well.

SPEEDTREE - that is the key

Unreal also incorporated it into their engine
