System Shock 2: Retrospective Video Interview @ GameSpot |
|
GameSpot has put up a video interview with Irrational's Ken Levine as they look back on the creation of the company's classic, 'System Shock II'. |

This is no mere retrospective! The article mentions that tomorrow (Friday), Irrational will be making a big announcement that is somehow related to System Shock 2.
That's right, one of the most-anticipated computer games of all time, System Shock 3, is on the way. So guesses me. |

Well, I would be a bit surprised if EA wanted to pursue SS3 (or release the rights for someone else to do it) but the article certainly hints at it in a big way...if it isn't SS3 it certainly looks like a spiritual successor. Can't wait! _________________ Editor @ RPGDot |

Man, I hope that's true! I just went back and replayed SS2 a month or two ago, and it's still probably the best thing I've played all year. |

OMFG!!! I can't wait!!!
First Oblivion is announced, and now this! God, I hope I can make enough money for that computer upgrade...
Btw, lets hope they are using the Doom 3 engine. Realistic shadowing all the way, baby!! |

SS3! But no DOOM3 engine please, I don't want to have to upgrade till late next year (yes, I can't play DOOM3 smoothly ) _________________ The world is small, nasty and complicated, and everybody dies alone... - Sam Fisher |
