Scariest/Creepiest Creature in Gothic!!!!

Ok, of course i couldn't get all the creatures up in the poll, too much but these are the creatures i fought most with , i saw the most etc...
i don't know about ya'll but those Minecrawlers are so damn creepy...
i admit,in real life i've got a huge fear for spider-like creatures no matter how small the damn spider is, in the game i let Gorn take out all the crawlers the most!

i sure hope we won't see them crawlers again in G2
but something tells me , we WILL see them again!

I don't like real life spiders, either, but the crawlers looked like ants and i like ants, so... I thought the skeletons were creepier. When I was a small child about 30 years ago, I was terribly afraid of skeletons .

Yeah, that's true....skeletons are very annoying as well..though they're very cool as friends when you summon them, they help you fight the badguys

yeah i agree, the crawlers look like big ants, but still they have that spider thing with them, well to be honest..the normal crawlers were OK, but when encountering the Crawler-warriors..aaaaaargghhh...they look to damn scary

I only say minecrawlers because where they live its super dark and they've startled me quite a few times when I have forgotten to use a light source and didn't expect them to come out at me. Otherwise I wasn't really scared....now if they used freaky looking spiders that were all hairy and that jumped around a bit I'd be scared.

The Razors scared the hell out of me, but as scary as they looked that wasn’t why. Those razors were smart. One of those things ran halfway around a mountain to sneak up behind me when I was sniping at his friends. I didn’t even hear him coming until I heard a deep growl from behind me. I turned around just in time to see the thing before it ripped me too shreds.

When I first played Gothic, the first "scary thing" I saw was those scavengers. They looked like skeletons, but had a different shape.

Then, when i first met a minecrawler I nearly jumped out of my chair. In teh game I started to run like he** and when I saw it kill the guards, I runned out of the cave and got some better equipment.

Then there was those ugly swamp sharks, I remember that I ran and swimmed verry fast. Then i died.

But the most scary thing was the friendly demon and Xardas tower, he looked very scary!

I know *exactly* what you're talkin about. You think that when you dont see that 2nd or third Razor that he's probably stuck in a corner somewhere...until you get that first nudge from the back and 1/2 of your life is gone in one shot. You wanna talk about getting the *SH#T* scared out of you. Razors scare me the most not cause of their power but because of their intelligence.
Swamp beasts come in 2nd. That slow crawl they go through to get to you is just ominous to me.

I'd say the toughest monster is the game is the Fire Lizard, only because no one really uses fire protection, so when they attack, even if you're in your 30's, can take you out REAL Fast!!!

Yeah, i understand exactly what you all mean...when i first saw the scavenger i ran as fast as i could, and that part about the crawlers attacking other people..YES exactly..i had the same..i saw the crawler for the first time coming out of the free mine and attacking lotsa guards...i watched then i ran like hell!

i find that the snappers are really intelligent as well...i'm wondering how smartass them monsters will be in part2...GULP!!!!

Minecrawlers!
Yeah I remember it like it was yesterday... [ nice start huh? ]
I heard all the stories about minecrawlers and I thought that I am ready
for it. And there I was - alone in total darkness, even with my light spell
I didn't saw much. And then something CRAWLED to me, I heard this
totally scary sound like "Hsssss", it was like needles in my head ohh!!
And it was right in front of me - quick, multi-legged, with those strange
eyes and... and ... and AAAAHHH they're everywhere!!!
AAAAAAAH!!!
This stuff just doesn't happens twice...

Orc dogs are scary (kinda) cause they just *Walk* at you, with that evil Orc Dog look in their eyes, stalking you...they wont even start running until you hit them with an arrow

I have to go with Shadowbeasts. Forests are scary enough as it is, and these things hulking around in them are quite unsettling to run across.

@Velnias I can see how forests could scare someone from the deserts of Texas, with all the rattlesnakes, coyotes, and poisonous lizards. If you’re from Tx do you live in a barn?

Those damn Zombies scared the crap out of me when I first saw them. I hate their whining sound, it freaks you out. Also when they die the sound they make sends a chill down your spine. Also, they just wouldn't die, you're standing there looking at a guy with his guts and brains hanging out trying to kill you and you can't touch him (unless you have death to undead)!!!!

Exactly! Orc dogs sure scared me the first time I've met them.
It was night, [ another story ] I ignored the guards saying "dont go there"
I saw all the valuable herbs and started collecting them. I saw orcs standing
in the distance so I stopped. And then I saw this shadow moving in the forest, looking at me. I walked away at bit and looked if it's still following - and it was! Arrgh leave me alone! And it was moving so deadly slow,
I was almost at the gate with guards, I turned around and saw another one! I escaped to the guards and the dogs still followed and finally died!
