Trails of Darkness: A German Gothic 2 MOD

There's a new MOD for Gothic 2 in the making, it is called <a href="http://www.trails-of-darkness.de/" target="_blank">Trails of Darkness</a>, but seems to be very early in development. Click the above link to learn more, that is, if you know German!

As I said, it seems to be very early in developing which means it is not out yet. Once it is released, it surely can be found via the link I provided!

i watched the screenshots at the site, but it is almost the same as gothic, they only made the ways and houses on different places, and the gaphics are better.

Reg the screens, their site says:
"Bei den gezeigten Screenshots handelt es sich lediglich um Bilder von unfertigen oder sich in der Arbeit befindlichen Objekten/Landschaften/etc. ,
die lediglich einen ersten Eindruck für das noch Kommende geben sollen."
translates to
"The shown screenshots depict only unfinished objects/landscapes/etc, which just should give an ideathings to come"

Garret,

Can we assume from this news that they used the MOD tools that were rumored to ship with the Add-on?

I thought this was well known by now. Mod tools are automatically installed with the add-on. They´re hidden somewhere in the Gothic2 folder. The problem is that PB didn´t include the scripts. Maybe this mod team convinced PB to give them the scripts.

Well, you mean, "... will convince PB...", Gorath, don´t ya?!

Aside from that i have to say the screeners look a bit too clean, too slick, too fabricated for my taste. I mean, the architecture they display, of course.

But one has to wait for the final results, that´s true.
