Can Kluath the dagon be killed, I couldn't do it and I was a level 18 barberian with the red tiger for a henchman. Has anyone beaten him.

When you entered the room that had Klauth, was he already "hostile" or was he neutral? Neutral is when you talk to them if you click on them, Hostile is when you attack them if you click on them (left click). You can right click him and check his status/faction.

If he's neutral, you probably have to talk to him, and say something to him to get him to attack you. Then fight him normally.

If you attacked him right away, even when he was neutral, he might be in "plot mode" which means he's unkillable.

If you want some general advice fighting dragons: make sure you have lots of Heal potions and have them on your quickslot, drink a clarity potion before starting the fight to protect you from fear, make sure the main warrior getting "hit" by the dragon has a high Discipline skill to protect from Knockdown.

(Daelan Red Tiger should have a decent enough Discipline score. If your PC doesn't, he shouldn't be on the frontlines fighting dragons)

I had talked to him and said that I was going to take his head as a trophie, I got him down to barley injured and then he did his fire breath and took off about 140 with it. There by rendering me dead.

i don't have NWN installed at the moment so i can't give you any more advice. but it looks like he's too powerful to be handled by your character. if you really have to kill him, you can always cheat.

but when i played NWN, i never killed him, seemed like too much bother.

Kluath? Is it the red dragon in chapter 3 that want you to get him a dragon egg? If yes, then you can kill it. Remember that there are three vaults before you enter Kluath's lair. In the first one, theres a young blue dragon inside it. Kill the blue dragon and suck the essence of the dead blue dragon into an orb that can be found in a pond nearby. It is done by putting the orb in a pedestal nearby.

After that, present the orb to Kluath so that it will consume the essence in the orb. Kluath's health will drop to badli wounded and starts to attack you. Now, you can kill it easier.

I did the dead dragon thing, of course... but on a lark I loaded an earlier save and I'm PRETTY SURE I beat him without it (not 100% sure... it's been years since I played but I recall fighting him for an hour once and running around out of breath weapon range all the time while my friends laughe).

Naturally if he is killable you can beat him in an endurance grudge match by coming at him over and over again. You're immortal and all. However, I didn't play with respawn because it felt like cheating to me... I recall beating him legit with my level 20 paladin but it took FOREVER and pretty much every single healing potion I had. And fire resistance/immunity. Hmm... Perhaps I'll load up NWN chapter 3 and make sure I didn't imagine being able to kill him without doing the dead dragon orb thing.

Surely you can beat it without using the orb, but it is easier if you use the orb.

I used the orb and he was easy. But i'm stuck on the 2 corrupted copper dragons. I'm a level twenty barbarian half-orc with Daelen as my side kick. Any tips?

That's a tough fight. Concentrate on one of them. You can go thru the teleporter as often as you like (IIRC), so blip in, pound away on one, blip out. Repeat until one is dead. Once you're down to one target, the fight isn't too bad.

Fight's not too bad anyways. If you're immune to fear and knockdown in particular you can simply kill one then the other. You have to do it without your henchman, probably, because they'll certainly run in terror from the fear aura.

My paladin took them down no problem, and my wizard didn't even break a nail. Of course the wizard was invulnerable to attack by means of greater stoneskin and packing enough evocations to destroy a small continent...

Greater Swordsman Belt. Buy it, and watch all the attacks from the twin corrupted dragons bounce right off your damage resistance. My pet died, though.
