Hello! Friends I am a Chinese and a greenhorn of English. I have played the Gothic 1,it is fanscinating.I was impressed by its free plots. But I have not beat it,because I was confused by orc temple .there seemed to be a gate I could not get through. so far I cannot find the sleeper. But I still found some little tips. here it is.
originally, you(hero)did not have much ore that was essential.but it does not matter, when you met whistler,he would ask you to do him a favor.then you could get freely a sword (damage 20)which was the best weapon at begin.then take it to seek out smith Huno, knock out and loot him,you will become rich because of getting many raw steels and forging them. when you became stronger you could loot merchants as well. the richest trader in colony is wolf or someone in new camp(I forget his name) he had 9999 ore if I did not mistake .throughout the game I have never been in short of ore. I had 20 thousands more ore. it seems too much I think. _________________ Greeting sire! your stronghold await you |

Welcome to the forums! Glad to see you here. You should try searching the forums for information about the orc temple - there might be something to help you out.
I didn't know Wolf had so much money! Also, the sharpening weel in the new camp generates a new sword every time you use it. So each time you click on it you get a new sword!
Hope to see you around here. |

Welcome to the forums. Another Gothic fan is always welcome =0)
That is a lot of ore. But as with most RPG's, it all depends on how you want to play the game. I personaly would not attack anyone unless they gave me reason to do so. Because of that it wasnt so easy for me to get a lot of ore. _________________ IMHO my opinion is humble |
