level 6 temple of illusions please help

Hello!
I'm having problems. I have managed to reach the passage to the room with the cup (room 24 on the maps on level 6) In the walkthrough it says that there should be a lever here that allows me to use the secret passage to avoid the teleporter in passage 24 so i can get to room 25 with the cup ..but there isnt a lever and I've tried everything to get past the teleporter and enter a secret passage. Can anyone help or tell me if I'm bugged please?

Temple of Illusions help in area 24.

The walkthrough is wrong on this piece. As you walk out of room 23 towards
area 24 you will see a "public notice" on the wall that reads "Well done. You have proved yourself worthy".
Above this notice and a little to the right near the ceiling you will see a diamond shaped stone on the wall that will light up when you put your cursor on it. Just double-click on it and the wall straight ahead will open up and you're on your way.
