| Problems with Freelancer demo |
|
I downloaded the Freelancer demo from its homepage at microsoft and I ran the install program. After it read the contents of the package and it extracted the files to a temp folder, it just stopped.......
Now I can't run it cause I can't even find it.
Is anyone Having the same problem? |

I can't quite remember, even though I downloaded it only a couple of days ago. I think it might have gone into a folder within the Windows/Temp folder (Win98). You could use the start button/search function and search for *.exe files created in the last day. Otherwise re-extract it and watch carefully for where it goes.
Afterwards I had to download DirectX 9.0, and also new drivers for my video card! A lot of downloading. |

use winzip/winace to extract it into its own folder. Then run the install from there. |
