Game Freezes When I Try To Install |
|
I've read about similar problems, but I still can't fix this. I just got Gothic II (yay for Christmas) and when I put the CD in, the AutoRun screen pops up and when I click Install it freezes. Here are my System Specs:
2.56 GHz
34 GB free space
512 MB Memory
ATI RADEON 9600 (128 MB)
Is there something I need to download to make it work? |

I had the same problem shortly before my mainboard finally gave up its ghost. First I had just trouble installing one game, then another, and suddenly I couldn't get any CD read anymore. And so on. The MB died in installments so to say.
But I doubt your problem is caused by the same thing... and as far as I know it's not a common problem with Gothic II. |

If you have Nortons be sure to shut it all down first, and be sure you internet connection is closed. I had similar problem and ended up installing it manually after disabling autorun. I had forgot to shut off the Nortons System monitor. Don't know if you have that but hope you get it up and going. _________________ =Member of the Nonflamers Guild=
