i have a question...in your opinion, what do you think is the hardest creature to fight? (doesnt include people) and also, i mean when they are by themselves, not in packs.
(try and include your character level, class, and current position in the game in your reply)

class: Mage
position: Chapter 5, just entered the outside area of the Sleeper Temple, but havent gone in yet.
i would have to say Trolls. i mean, COME ON!!! do these things EVER die??? nothing i have can kill them! i cant do any damage with my orc hammer, long bow, ball of lightning (nor can i shock him) ice block (nor can i freeze him) the only thing that does ANY damage whatsoever is Storm of fire, but only does a fraction of damage. the only way to really kill him is with the shrink scroll (in my opinion) |

hmm
i dunno about u guys but i had alot of trouble with Fire lizards, they burnt the crap outa me in like 3 seconds, even tho my fire resist was like 70.
shadow beasts are hard coz u can stumble into them at low lvls and get ripped apart 
trolls just take alot of bashin, but yea they're hard  |

The hardest creature is either the fire lizard, or Mad Cor Kalom.
Why? Because pyrokenisis is a $@!%$#@%$#@ annoying spell!!!!! |

i just kept wacking him and he could never cast it
besides, were talking about monsters

I believe the troll fight could be classified under the most BORING enemy(without the shrink scroll). One time I literally force-quitted the game because of the nausea-inducing battle with the reappearing troll mamma.

all i did every time was summon a gollum to act as Deigo and then do the same as before. |

Mage 35 level.
Skeleton Temple Wariors (but if you are mage and use Death to Undeath spell, they are nothing)
Lizards (hardest enemies, you compete at begining of game)
Orcs, esp. orc temple warriors.
Apocaliptic templars (they are really maybe most difficult enemies in game, they need around 20 Breath of death spells (circle 6 very powerfull spell).
But if you train your character carefuly, there are no really difficult enemies in this game.
I like this, because I hate autoleveling creatures (like in Wizardy 8, when you come somewhere and there is strong creature, you can not kill and you go somewhere else to train your character and then you come back much stronger - ouch, creature is also stronger (because its level is computed from your level)).

hmm i never really had trouble with any creature exacly,
but i think fire lizards/lizards were the dangerous for the level i was when i was trying to fight them... |

In my opinion, the fire lizards are the hardest, and the orc temple warriors are the most annoying (the block all my strikes  ) |

with fire lizards u kinda have 1 chance and 1 chance only, u 'cant' let them burn you, you have to hack the crap out of them before they fire. you cannot take on multiple fire lizards with meelee weapons. |

Fire Lizards, the most annoying deadly creature at possibly any given level, if you don't hack them quick you're done for
BUT if you summon a Golem you can just sit back and watch the show, since Golem are pretty much fire resistant
