I agree with SirDeity - it is hardly believable that WoW will come out before the end of 2004. I think it is in development since 2000 (or 1999, but that is arguable), and although as far as I hear at the moment the majorita of Blizzard are working on this project (and they have not announced any other project) I doubt that they would even start the beta now. |

Beta is slated to start "sometime soon now". I imagine they will begin sending out Beta discs before Christmas.
The Alpha stage is reportedly already very stable, lots of content, good deal all around, so I expect the Beta stage to be largely load balancing and nailing down particulars. This will probably take around 6 months or so, and I expect to see WoW in stores in late summer of next year.
This is just my impression from what I've read and experience with past games. Don't take my word for it.
(And sorry about my absence, Thanksgiving snagged me for last week. |

I have noticed that not many people talk in this forum and seing as how the last post was like january other than me that is just sad sad sad but i cant wait till the game comes out also for any of u that are interested in joining a great and fun clan when the game comes out visit my thread called clan with the poll its guna be great and i cant wait till the game comes out beacuse for some reason or other i never found out were to sign up for the beta and i didnt get any emails ect wich realy dissapointed. _________________ Don't succumb to lies, to do that is to sink to the level of an idiot.
