Look at the new picture of the box cover. This is from the Hungary site, but see the UK flag on it? In fact there is four flags.

From the JoWood forum, the guy NPI bought and has it. It is English voices for add-on then select your language. He thinks it will be available one way or another to other countries soon.

The add-on versions will all work with the english G2 original.

In fact, someone I think is selling copies for good money privately off Ebay.... Make some coin you wankers.

Strip the English addon voice.vds and stick in your German add-on. About 68 meg download compressed with 7zip. Host it on rapidshare.de

Hmm i'm wondering if it is possible to replace the german voices with english voices? I have bought german addon and now i'm intrested to hear how do the dialogs sound with english actors. I would love to hear some cool pirate accents..

Ofcourse now someone comes and ruins the fun by saying it is illegal

I just want the english version because i hate listening to the characters switch from english to german every few sentenses.. It's driving me nutz. They should release a speech pack for german addon uses that'll change it to english. Yea i know, like that will ever happen.

If someone from Hungary would be so kind to sell us a copy of the game over the Net (do they have Ebay? PayPal, etc is just a private insured transaction) then we could strip the voice file, and using the SDK kit add the English voices into the German add-on, similar to the text translation pack.

Simple. As I say, if I lived in Hungary, I would be selling copies to the English speaking world making big dollars. They are into 'capitalism' there are they not?

It really is 86.43 meg compressed. You got proof. I am deslystic. I had it backwards.

Now just for the 5 text files menu.dat, gothic.dat, OU.bin, OU.cls, OUinfo.dat ...THX Ug! for a 'new' translation patch.

Tried to find either a voicepack or the whole thing for anywhere other than a few countries, and it's just not possible to get it shipped to places like Norway I'm afraid.

I was talking about the official version with English audio and English texts. I want the real deal and not the German version (even though it has that English mod).

Well, that really does exist as a *** on the Net. It is the real deal in full. No BS. All is in English; cutscences English voice, original English text, plus manual.

But it is not a legal item, and so you must know 'someone' to get it. I will not tell, so please people do not ask me in a PM .

I can tell you the legal way to get an 'english' version working, but it will not be 'the' perfect one.

I will buy it as soon as someone sells it in my region anyway. I want the official copy for myself. I am a fan. I really hope someone will publish in English speaking countries before that *** ruins its chances. Everyone will already have a copy of it.
