I hope you all read the excellent interview over at Game Banshee (see News page if you missed it). The really interesting comment right at the end, was that DD2 will have multiplayer. Now that could really be worth waiting for. _________________ If God said it, then that settles it!

I really don't think that will be a problem. I expect they'll focus on SP first and then add in the MP possibility. At least I hope that's what they'll do. _________________ If God said it, then that settles it!

They reuse the Beyond Divinity engine for everything that is not related to graphics. The graphics part of the engine is replaced with a 3D part.
As they reuse the engine I would not be too worried about the SP part. They took gradual steps. No party in Divinity. A party (sort of) upto 6 in Beyond Divinity and MP in Divinity 2. _________________ Kewl quotes:
