I think it's not out yet. But I'm looking forward to it.

It's hell meets boy. What more could you ask for? I'll go see it regardless.

I just hope it doesn't get screwed up the way League of Boring Gentleman was.

I'm not one for comic books. In fact, I didn't even know it was a comic book until I found out about the movie!

I was bored to tears and wished to God that I spent my $7.25 on Dawn of the Dead instead. Hopefully, the Punisher turns out to be entertaining. After all, they really don't need CG and a budget to do a movie like that.

lol... I second that. Shame, though.
I'm interested in Hellboy, I never knew of the comic, but it looks unique and I hear the director has done some good stuff in the past. Although it would seem its first "review" is not favourable, eh Kengo? Oh well.

I hope Punisher is good too, I have a mass of the comics at home (I was a huge fan as a kid) and would like to see a decent movie (no, Dolph's effort doesn't qualify as "decent!") although I think it's unlikely to be anything more than a big dumb actioner. Travolta's involvement has the alarm bells ringing. Wait and see, I guess... at least the guy playing Frank looks the part.

I just looked at reviews to this movie and they are very similar to Underworld. Either people, or critics, liked it or hated it. I didn't like Underworld. It was slow and had way to many plot holes. I think Hellboy looks great on the commercials, but I thought the same thing of Underworld and eagerly awaited its release...and then wasted money and time watching it.

What do the people that didn't like Underworld think of this movie?

I saw it, I liked it. Better than your average comic book -> movie conversion. I'd recommend it.

[lad mode]Seeing Kate Beckinsale in that sexy outfit can't have been a total waste of time, surely?[/lad mode]

Off on a tangent here, but did you know that the official tie-in game for Underworld retailed at £10 (UK) and it's actually supposed to be pretty decent? Apparently there's a new budget "movement" of new games selling at low prices (just like Mastertronic and Codemasters in the '80s). I've seen PC games going for around half normal retail price for a while now (like Uplink and Clusterball), and small PC developers direct-selling their games over the net, but now some PS2 devs/publishers are doing it, with really low prices (£10-15) for new games (not re-releases). Good luck to 'em, I say.

Right, back on-topic. Errr, I still haven't seen Hellboy.
