I think it's very good that you people on RPGDot are tracking Van Buren. I'm eager to see it being announced hopefully as Fallout 3, then. _________________

Let's just hope it makes it into our hands.
Josh Sawyer's work was basically complete before he left but I'm sure his input will be missed managing the project. It's had a rocky road already with two lead designers going. Black Isle/Interplay would be seriously injured by a third project cancellation.
On the positive side, I'm pretty confident in the design Josh and the team laid down so hopefully Interplay will give them the resources they need and they can get on with it, probably under Sean Reynold's direction. _________________ Editor @ RPGDot |

Duck and Cover has this forum related to “Phoenix Project” which supposedly is taking place in apocalyptic word.
Also one of Polish developers is working on another project called “Trinity”; only God knows when that one will see lights of the day. _________________ Money - An article which may be used as a universal passport to everywhere except heaven, and as a universal provider of everything except happiness. |

Yes, Briosafreak from NMA kindly sent me the info on Trinity. I think I'll wait for some english material before adding it to the database. _________________ Editor @ RPGDot |

Well the temple of elemental evil has a resemblance to fallout.
Another recent game that has been compared to fallout is one called silent storm.
I dont think it got any news here at rpgdot but I could be wrong. Ive heard this game is great though.
It is a world war two setting rpg with turn based combat. |

Yep, we cover Silent Storm - not sure that I consider it Fallout-like but it's fantastic. The demo is great and anyone who likes TB squad strategy should check it out.
The deformable terrain is brilliant: blowing up walls, shooting through floors, etc. _________________ Editor @ RPGDot |
