OMG!! The conspiracy has been discovered.

Someone will have to pay the price of failure.
I'll alert my contacts at the FBI, CIA and, well the old camp.

ehlo.
Come on, tell me how large G2 Eng is. I only have a few gigs left on my last hard drive. And I don't feel like deleting any my *music*. So if there's not enough space, this'd be a good excuse to pick up another 120gb.

[edit]
Size for a full installation. Not partial installation, if that's an option.

German version: 3 CDs, about 2 GB + save games + possibly 1 gb more of swap area

And I don't see a reason why the english version should be significantly larger or smaller

Out in UK branches of "Game", (formerly Electronics Boutique).
Picked it up on Saturday.... went in for "Bloodmoon" - came out with GothicII instead. Maybe I got very lucky..?

Garrett/Gorath...I think you should (or someone) should set limits to the size of jpegs posted to this site. Better yet, set the size of pics posted in threads in your web server so that all images in threads are auto-sizing. The pic Bigkabuto posted, while being a nice shot, makes the thread twice as wide.

Irf - Since you asked, I've been keeping an eye on Gothic's release date for awhile now...so was hopeful I'd find it in there. And they hadn't had "Bloodmoon" in yet - so it was an easy choice. Although I never got round to playing the first Gothic, I'd read alot of good things about it.
I got kinda focused on Morrowind for awhile and missed out on several other good RPG's. So over the last month I've picked up Arx Fatalis, Wizardry 8 and now Gothic II. Nice to see such a revival of RPG's going on...
Now all I need is enough time to play them all lol,
Regards,
