I (Shmaugus) on this day (June 19, 2003) have place my order for Gothic II at 7:14 PM and hopefully it'll be on my doorstep by monday unless fedex ships on saturdays  |

Does the game come with the manual and box?
Is the game you're all ordering the exact same version as the one that will be releasing in the US in October ?? If it is I'll order it too! I just want to make sure it's not a lesser version in any way.
PS. Do you have to order via credit card?

Well all uk games come in a DVD style case.
Whereas the US games usually come in those small cardboard boxes.
You do have to use a credit/debit card on gogamer.
The game/manual will be the same as the us, just the box will be a dvd case rather than the usual cardboard small box they use over here probaly. |

I think the big reason for th slow USA release is this. JoWooD has his logo all over the box and splash screen. Atari is the publisher now and wants to get rid of the older DVD already made up but never released by JoWood.
Atari will have a box with a (I hope) a better picture on the front cover and have thier own Logo and splash screens. It take alittle time and not until all the UK versions are sold. Gameplay is the same. So in the end it does not really matter.

I ordered my copy last week and received last monday the paper from my postal office telling that my package was available for me to get.
Unfortunately yesterday was an holiday here in Quebec (it was the St-Jean Baptiste, the equivalent of the american 4th july).
So here I am, waiting to run to the postal office at 17h... 4 hours remaining... I should have called sick this morning
