10 RPGs to watch out for at Gamerspulse

10 RPGs to watch out for is the title of an editorial at Gamerspulse today. 9 of them are console titles, only one is for PC. This is not a best of selection, but games they find interesting and promising.

This list was obviously composed by some anime fanboy. I wouldn't even call half of these games RPG's. Sure it says so on the box (or will say so) but that doesn't make them RPG's. Even if they decided to start calling Quake an RTS it still wouldn't be a strategy game and the same is true for these games. Half of them are "console-style" RPG's. They should be called adventure games. This guy even has the nerve (or ignorance) to say that there has been no major RPG's for the Xbox yet (Morrowind sold a lot of copies for the Xbox as far as I know). He even goes on to say that the first "real"RPG will be a Japanese "console-style" RPG. On the bright side he has Fable and SW:KotR on the list.
