Help! XD3D..Error Gothic II won't start any more.

I have been playing Gothic for some time now, I am at the end of Chapter 2.

Platform : Win2k/PIII 800/Voodoo5/DirectX 9

Now for some reason after I initiate the game and get past the VDFS load, Gothic terminates with an error. If anyone knows what this error is and more important how to fix I would appreciate it.

X:XD3D_InitPerDX: Can't create D3DX Context! Error: D3DXERR_CAPTSNOTSUPPORTED

Thanks in advance

At least SP3 is of course a must.
Go back to DirectX8. This helped somebody else who got this message. You can also try to reinstall DX9 and Gothic 2.
