I've found a strange artifact named "Stone of Knowledge".
What does it do? Is there any use of it?

I think you are talking something you find behind Innos statues........yes it has a use. Keep it in your inventory and when you talk to the right person you get a new dialog option.

If you become a Fire Mage, you do find a small stone behind a couple of Innos shrines -- these become part of the quest to deal with the Seekers. This is from the original G2 and not part of the Addon.
The odd stone that I found was in the stone altar near Saturas in the Addon underground digs (before going to the Addon world). I've completed NotR twice (as Mage and then as Paladin), had the stone with me both times, and never found a use for it or anyone who mentioned it.
Has anyone else found a use or quest for this "stone"?
