help with weapons?

I've come across several magic weapons that have special abilities. Most of these are self-explanatory, except for a couple. I can find absolutely nothing in the manual to define what "keen" and "mighty" do. I'm betting there's probably a few other "word abilities" as well. As I remember, there's just the word listed in the item's description, no plusses are anything like that.

If I remember correctly, Keen doubles the critical range of the weapon and Mighty adds your strength bonus to the damage.

Mighty is a bonus used on bows (and possibly crossbows?). Bow damage is usually DEX based. This causes your STR bonus to be added.

Keen does double the critical range. It's fun to have around.

Mighty on a bow allows you to use part of (or your entire) your strength bonus to damage. Normally you use dexterity to hit, and get nothing to damage... even with a really high strength.

Thanks, all. Where did you find the answer, though? I think I've paged thru the manual from cover to cover 4 times now.

The manual's rather incomplete. Many people have indicated that it's useful to have the PHB around when playing to solve eventual doubts not covered by the manual.
