12 Songs of Maldoror

what an awsome book... I had never read, or heard anyone spitting out poison so beautifully. Written under the name of Lautreamont by the young Parisian Isidore Ducasse in 1869...
The book is narrated by Maldoror- practically diabolical misanthrope.
Ducasse himself died an anonymous death in 1870, at the age of 24. For what I know, this is his only book. Really worth reading.

Karen Traviss' "Republic Commando: Triple Zero". So far it's good IMO, but not as good as the predecessor. A bit too sentimental at times.

You know how to have a good time, Val.

"Bloodsucking Fiends" by Christopher Moore for me. Supposed to be primo comic fiction. It's been a fun read so far.

Re-reading Magician a.t.m. I have read the full Rift War saga now, the Snakewar books and the first book of the Empire. (or something like that, it's a collab from Raymond with a friend). Meaning I have now read 10 books from Raymond. Trying to get the next part now, but it's sold everywhere, so it was a good time to reread Magician. I still love that book.

The Thousandfold Thought, book 3 of The Prince of Nothing series.

EDIT: I suggest not reading all of that excerpt if you think the series looks interesting as it contains some spoilerish information. The prologue for the first book, The Darkness That Comes Before, is also available to read.
